Step 1: Getting there

First off I should probably tell you a little bit about myself. But you're here for Eve stuff so I'll keep this short. My first experience with Eve (that I can remember) goes back to 2010. I had no idea what I was getting into, the game was way too complicated and slow for me, yadda yadda yadda. Between then and early 2013 I would get months of game-time here and there. I really WANTED to like this game but for whatever reason it never stuck. Then I heard about that big battle where the equivalent of tens of thousands of dollars worth of ships were destroyed and I figured that it was as good a time as any to rejoin and try to really get hooked. Needless to say it did finally click this time. Joining a corp was probably the thing that helped me the most. I resubscribed right as BNI was beginning to explode with popularity and I joined right up. What a blast I've had so far with those guys. But the fun part of this game is trying and experiencing new things right? I had done the high sec thing, my main was pretty much permanently in low sec in Rahadalon with BNI, so I figured it's time to see what's going on in null sec.

Knowing that this had the potential to be extremely profitable, or end terribly, and in either case be hilarious I grabbed my alt, fitted up a basic exploration Heron, and set course from Jita to an undisclosed location in Geminate. The trip down (or rather sideways) was pretty uneventful. Ran into a couple warp bubbles that luckily were unguarded.
There was one close call where a guy caught me in a bubble but I was able to burn back through the gate and hide for a few minutes, getting through successfully on my next attempt. After that it was smooth sailing. Right now I'm busy setting up shop at my new home station. Next thing I'll be doing is attempting some exploration. Hopefully I don't get blapped right away! See you all next time.
